Store, usability analysis and strategy

Weitz is a German company that specializes in table and kitchen culture while also offering wedding and wish lists. The company’s headquarters are located in Hanover, with two additional branches operating in Hamburg and Bielefeld.

The challenges

For our client WEITZ, we not only tackled the challenge of addressing the requirements of different stores and product exhibitions, but also successfully fulfilled the desired level of customization for developing public wedding registries.

Implementation

After years of supporting and collaborating to create and maintain different online stores, Weitz approached us again to conduct in-depth usability testing.

Creation of online stores

We developed multiple brand stores and an in-house multi-brand store utilizing the Shopware Professional e-commerce system. In addition, we have continuously supervised the stores’ further development over the years. Among other goals, the creation of the personal wedding registry serves a key function. This allows couples to generate a wedding registry for the table and kitchen departments and share it with their wedding guests.

Usability analysis

Even years later, Weitz still acknowledges our expertise. We are currently implementing new usability assessments and continuously enhancing our current online stores. For our usability analyses, we utilize a combination of customer and/or potential customer surveys and in-house expert analysis. Our analysis adheres to ISO standards 9241-11 to ensure precision and accuracy.
